Great plates that are easy to grip and hold. I store them on CAP Barbell 2″ Plate Rack and use them primarily with a 7′ CAP Barbell Solid ECO Bar. There were some imperfections with the paint in a few areas, but really nothing to worry about. The approximate plate diameters are 5.75″ for 2.5lbs, 9.25″ for 10lbs, 11.0″ for 25lbs, 14.0″ for 35lbs, and 16.25″ for 45lbs.

Good quality for the price

Can’t beat these for the price. I needed some extra weight for my collection to progress with deadlifts and had to go with these for the price. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality at this price point. Its weight. Its meant to be lifted, not to be looked at. It gets the job done.

Really good value

After buying a couple plates without the grip holes I will never get ones without them again! Other than that not sure what to say, Im not measuring them for precise weight or anything and they work for what I need!

Rough finish but usable

Picked up 2 of the 2.5 incremental plates. They were about 30% cheaper than local stores and free shipping made it easy. The finish is a little rough on these. I have some older CAP plates that have much nicer finish. That said the weights fit well on my bar. Measured on my cheap shipping scale one came in at 2lb 7 oz, the other at 2lb 6.6 oz. Pretty close, the weight may be off due to the scale but it is fairly repeatable.

which makes it comfortable to pick up

These fit my home gym perfectly. All of my equipment is Olympic, so no issues changing plates on my machines. There are no corners when gripping the handle, which makes it comfortable to pick up. Before the CAP plates, I bought the Champion plates about 7 yrs ago. Those were the cheapest plates back then (about $1/lbs). I’ve always wanted the CAP plates, but they were almost 1 1/2 times the cost, at the time. I can’t believe they’re $1/lbs now. I wish I could trade my whole Champion weight stack for CAP plates….SMH. Oh well….it’s all timing.

These are very average olympic plates in every way. …

These are very average olympic plates in every way. The cutouts are pointless as far as I can tell, but with weights this light I don’t think anything would be necessary to aid your grip.

Great plate for weightlifting and holding punching bad stand

The hand grips are nice for holding onto for doing exercises with just the plate. The texture is not slick. Coating seems durable. I also us it to weigh down my punching bag stand.

Great all around. No pun intended.

They fit through the barbell, didn’t have to dremel it or anything. Unlike the Dick’s sporting goods weight set (body fitness?) weights, these are almost official size so they work fine for deadlifting, especially if you put one layer of the cheap gym mats down. It’s easy to grab and lift due to the holes on the sides. I didn’t weigh them, but I’m sure they’re within variance (don’t really want to get concerned about it). For the price (less than a dollar a pound), it’s cheaper than most stuff on Craig’s List.
